How much should I charge for daycare in my home?

I'm 14 and I've never really babysat a stranger's kids before, I've only babysat my niece and helped out with a couple of family friends' kids for no pay. How much money should I charge per hour for babysitting?

$6-8 sounds about right to me for your age and experience.

You should either charge the minimum wage rate in your state, or about $7-$8 per hour per child. Good luck!

When I used to babysit, I'd let the parents of the kids I was watching decide. If they ever asked how much I charge, I'd reply with, "whatever you're comfortable paying me."
But if you want to come up with an hourly rate yourself, I think like 6 an hour is acceptable.

You should charge at most your states minimum wage. If it is more than one child tap at least $2.50 to $3.00 more.
